This luxurious 10-bedroom boutique resort is located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, featuring an on-site Day Spa, indoor heated mineral pool, jet spa, steam room, gym and outdoor pool with sundeck.

Practice will be centred around the chakras, incorporating asana, pranayama, meditation, svadhyaya and chanting.

FAQs

What rooms are available?

You will be sharing a room with another person, so some people like to come along with a friend, while others love the opportunity to meet new people.

How do I secure my spot?

You can secure your spot to our retreat by paying the $500 deposit.

How much is the deposit and when is this due?

The deposit is $500 and is required to reserve your spot in order to avoid missing out as numbers are limited and the retreats sell out quickly.

When is the final payment due?

Final payment will be due two months prior to the start date of the retreat.

Where is the retreat taking place?

Nu Leaf Retreat in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

How do I get to the retreat venue?

You will need to make your own way there. You can get a train to Morriset and a bus into Pokolbin, then a taxi. However, the easiest way is by car.

What will I be eating?

We will provide nourishing meals and snacks made by local caterers for the duration of your stay.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Please let us know well in advance so we can cater for your requirements.

What kind of yoga are we practicing?

Yoga practice will be centred around the chakras, incorporating asana, pranayama, meditation, svadhyaya and chanting. There will be a dynamic vinyasa practice each morning, and a colling practice each afternoon.

Who is this retreat suited for? Do I have to be an “advanced yogi”?

Absolutely not. The retreat is open to all levels, including beginners.

What do I need to pack?

Make sure you have yoga clothes to practice in and a yoga mat. Blocks and straps will be provided to you.

What’s included and what is not included?

Included: Accommodation (including sheets and towels), food, all yoga practices, indoor heated mineral pool, jet spa, steam room, gym and outdoor pool with sundeck.

Not included: Transport to and from the retreat venue, spa treatments at the luxurious day spa (though these can be booked in advance if you would like to treat yourself.)

What if I have an injury or need to modify?

There will be guidance, modifications and props to assist injuries and special circumstances (including pregnancy if past the first trimester).

How many guests are attending the retreat?

There will be a maximum of 16 people, including myself and assistants in the group.
